NEWS FLASH!

Shortly after his 78th birthday, Cyril Paul is planning to ride
his bicycle from Minnesota to California,
... to raise funds for an important Scholarship.
Cyril’s goal is to complete the journey of 2,600 miles to raise
funds for West Indian students to enroll at St. John’s University
in the United States. The goal is to help them obtain degrees in
environmental studies and pre-engineering. By studying the
ecological systems, they will discover solutions to affect
changes necessary to create a balance in our planet's systems.
This is especially critical in the Caribbean and countries of the Western Hemisphere.

The ride starts in Bloomington, MN on Monday,  June 2, 2008, and will conclude in Downey, CA sometime in July.  Cyril' s  friends, Jeff and Rita Nohner, who spent 10 days with him in Trinidad and Tobago created a website to tell Cyril' s story.  That new website is: www.cpwis.org.  Check it out and you can also send your donation through that website for Cyril' s fundraiser.
