PATHWAYS
TO PROGRESS
- Cyril
Paul, August 2001 It's
now summer in the city The
heat wave's on the rise There'll
be a carnival in Frogtown Everyone will be disguised. A new spirit's in the dawning With
plans to stay always You
can feel it in the children See the building blocks are ready As
cast of colour of many hue Should
you care to come and join us
How we celebrate our ancient customs And
celebrate our changing life Seeking harmony each step In the midst of daily strife. In our souls we plant the seed Drawn
together seeking wisdom From every culture and every creed. On the wings of the turtle dove Come
together, bring the sunshine Bring
your sorrows, we shower the love. |
